I've been slowly getting into the Bible recently. I haven't subscribed to any formal belief system. I just have my own personal spiritual thoughts that may not coincide with most organized religious beliefs.
Check out New Age Bible Versions by G. Riplinger. Its a page turner for sure. I found it online recently for free but its worth buying hardcopy https://archive.org/details/NewAgeBibleVersionsRiplinger/page/n5/mode/2up Its absolutely mind blowing how the versions change even the supposed better ones like NASB and ESV are still powerful but have been manipulated sometimes straight up edited.
I have no doubt that demonic influence has corrupted many modern Bible versions and that the KJV should be taken as the authoritative version, but the book does a disservice to that argument by lying and misrepresenting basic facts and quotations.
Well, the reviewer of that link seems to be a reasonable man and he is also in the KJV Only camp. Maybe you could take a look if he had anything he wrote. To be honest I am not really familiar with the best and most well-known books on the subject, but I did find this:
This seems quite down-to-earth and easy to understand as a resource on why we should use the KJV. As for evidence of corruption on new bible committees though I think you would have to look elsewhere for research.
