Here’s the big secret. Doctors write for medication off label all the time. For example,birth control pills for painful menstrual cramps. These common off label are never questioned. If for some reason the doctor wants to write for a medication off label and the pharmacist doesn’t know that it’s been used that way the pharmacist will usually request an article from a medical journal showing that somebody’s looked into it and then it’s filled. What is happening now has never happened before. Just bizarre. Doctors, pharmacist and nurses are being threatened with losing their licenses for not going along with the lies.
