That is correct, God did and he called it 2700 years ago in the Book of Isaiah. “Who hath heard such a thing? who hath seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day? or shall a nation be born at once? for as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children.”

To the Hebrew mindset prophesy can mean pattern that is one prophesy can have multiple fulfillment even partial fulfillment. Eg coming down from mount of transfiguration the disciples ask about Elijah, Jesus says Elijah will come - future and that he has already come ie John the Baptist

And also some prophecy verses can have partial fulfillment at one period of time and thousands of years later be fully fulfilled such as the Daniel 70 weeks or one of my favorites when Jesus, in Luke 4, read the first part of the verse in Isaiah 61 because he will fulfill the rest at his second coming.
