There's no east to west edge; the Earth is continuous. I've traveled west from the west coast of USA to return to the East coast of USA, still going west. I've even been to the southern hemisphere and experienced changes in season.
East to west circumnavigation is easy cause it’s just a circle. Seasons are also easy the sun circles the earth along the tropics giving us our different seasons. Check flights from Australia to any Southern Hemisphere destination and prepare to have your mind blown.
Ok, I looked these up on Expedia. Perth, AUS (PER) to Ushuaia, Argentina (USH): 6,435 mi. Perth, AUS (PER) to Buenos Aires, Argentina (EZE): 7,810 mi. Sandakan, Malaysia (SDK) to Santarém, Brazil (STM): 11,888 mi. Boston, MA (BOS) to Bejing, China (PEK): 6,730 mi.
I found a diagram showing the sun spiraling towards and away from the Earth-disc to create the seasons. Why and how does it do that? Also has it been observed that the other stars do this with their planets in other solar systems?
