You do realize that these laws were written for governing a region? I’d be fine w restricting wages to illegal aliens. You?

It’s a 2,000 year old document that’s been translated over and over (telephone game). Understanding the context when it was written is important.

I was just pointing out that the text of the Talmud you linked did indeed say what the OP's linked article said it did, which it seemed you had overlooked.
