I would agree with the smoking part of it always being extremely irritating while sick. These days there are many different ways to get it into the system without smoking. Most of those links I posted are speaking strictly of CBD, which in whole plant form is a very small %. But you can buy it pure online in a tincture or gummy form and it is non-psychoactive so no high with it.
