It would seem to me like riots would be more likely if he walked, not to mention the prosecutor was so bad that it almost seemed like losing was his goal. I really can't imagine anyone that stupid passed the Barr, so I'm going with he wanted to lose. He's probably been paid handsomely by Soros bucks because he literally humiliated himself on the level of Larry, Curly, and Moe, and I can't see his reputation surviving this utter failure of a prosecution. I think he was instructed to throw the fight so that they could have an excuse for rioting, patriots would be pissed, they may stage protests, but they are unlikely to get violent or destroy property.
