I find you so fascinating tendie. Love when you share stuff like this. And yeah I can totally relate. I had a similar "All at once" cog dissonance fracturing when it came to the whole Trump Russia collusion debacle.
I never paid too much attention to politics but passively went along with whatever mainstream media narratives were out there and so I bought into the whole "Trump is a Russian asset" and felt that the prosecutors must have compelling legitimate reason to think so. And thus I felt it was a good thing he should be impeached and was convinced it would be a slam dunk.
But then... the whole narrative began to crumble and the impeachment failed. This drew my curiosity into something political for the first time and I started slowly reading more than just the headlines on these msm articles about the whole situation.
The Steele dossier ended up being fake as fuck and suddenly all the allegations against Trump flatlined. I was shocked. For these events could only mean one thing and one thing only.
Trump's newly appointed position as President must have been perceived by the establishment politicians and upper class elite bureaucrats as the single most enormous threat to their long held status quo power structure. For if they were willing to go to such great lengths as to lying about Trump, manufacturing false evidence and testimony in coordination with the FBI and DOJ, then it surely must mean that Trump must then have gone rogue and betrayed the establishment elites and sought to restore power to the working class--a proposition that appeared hadn't been seriously attempted in several decades if ever.
After that, I could not shake my suspicions that this also meant that the exact reason that Trump was so vilified by the media, was because they were also part of the corruption within the government and they were working together.
