Love that POTUS kept blowing off everyone that's been saying "oh you'll do great in 2024!", saying that doesn't matter because it won't make a difference unless the election issues are addressed before then.
Also (and I'm paraphrasing hard here) I was interested that both of them kept saying that things had to happen this way, that people wouldn't have realized the extent of corruption until they saw what happened with the election and Biden's "presidency", stuff like that. Think they brought that up at least two or three times.
Which of course people who don't know the definition of discomfort will cry and whine about how they had to cut back on eating out and- look at this point, unless you're a starving child in some shithole country, you don't know what discomfort is and thanks to Trump and everyone else involved, you likely will not have to.
Also, Trump did NOT put us in this situation nor is he even remotely obligated to get us out of it. We let it happen when WE got politically lazy, let them take our education system and shamelessly shill for an economic system that is purposed to grind away the human spirit. Also, other evil people brought this in. Remember who the enemy is and if you are not happy with the results, get off your lazy, whiny ass and DO SOMETHING.
I agree, but I have been trying to do something for 30 years, be politically active, support good candidates, work on campaigns, etc, and we still got kicked in the teeth by the system and those we elect. It was like a relentless unscalable wall that just kept pushing forward while we tried to stop it with just our bare hands. I kept hope and faith for a really long time, longer than I should have, thinking if we just got the right people in office, passed the right legislation, things would turn around. But they never did. We would get a win every once in a while, which I think is by design, but the tide never really turned. Not everyone was lazy or uninvolved. The system is rigged against us.
