Not sure where else to post this: Friend of a friend’s husband has been on a ventilator for two weeks... is there hope? Just found out today.

Is there anything that can be done? The doctors said today that all hope is lost. She’s praying for a miracle. Any advice or experience would be appreciated.

Family member on vent for a month..in his 20s. They wanted mom to DNR HIM. Said his brain cells were basically gone She wouldn't. He didn't die and tho he has to relearn some things he is home with PT and speech therapy. His mental capacity is good. He was vaccinated and got COVID.

they need to get him off vent asap. CPAP. NAC..high vitamin c by i.v. steroids
