Guns aren't toys. Even prop guns. When handling any gun there is an order of procedure. Someone like Baldwin would know that. He's been on many movie/tv sets. John Schneider explains it on his YouTube channel, titled Explaining The Age Old Protocol For Guns On Movie Sets.
