Back in the late 80s there was a group protesting monkey tests right on front of the campus on a high-traffic street. They updated a sign daily for the number of days they had been there protesting. I remember it being over 200 days. Instead of stopping the experiments, NIH moved the labs out to the boondocks where protesters couldn’t find them.
