Opinion:
While we watch and wait for a jury decision in the Rittenhouse case, what is really on trial there is the Justice System itself. Many of us anons on GAW have, over the years, lost our trust and faith in our Justice System. The DOJ/FBI cabal seem to be water boys for the Deep State and Demwit Party, and "law enforcement" across the nation is a spotty patchwork excellent local systems right next to some corrupt and ineffectual systems.
So what will come out of this trial will be a litmus test of Justice in America.
Interesting question... it might have had to do with court costs. The court would have to pay for added security, hotel rooms, food, etc. There might have been other reasons, but we may not know until well after the trial is over.
But since they're NOT sequestered means that they have been free all along to hear added details that were not presented in court, such as the criminal backgrounds of the rioters Kyle shot in self defense, and also prosecution misconduct that should cause those guys to be disbarred. Plus they might have seen the occasions that the judge openly admonished the prosecution for misconduct.
