This was reported on a while back. It is just shit framing made to look bad for Trump when in fact it is bad for the black hats.

These guys claimed to be representing the Proud Boys in the emails. For anyone with a brain it becomes clear that they were acting on behalf of anti-Trump interests due to the fact that they were trying to link their intimidating behavior to a group that is famously reported on as being a "far-right extremist organization". If they were genuinely trying to intimidate people into voting for Trump, they wouldn't have left a calling card as to who they were, especially not a false calling card.

They were clearly baiting media coverage which would be framed negatively for Trump.

If they are being charged, this is a good thing.
