Candace Ownes said something that stuck with me. She said... "What is so good about being a victim?"
What is your opinion on this?
Why do human beings like being victims? Why do humans love talking about how someone is screwing them over?
When you point to examples of how the same thing happens to other people. They get mad at you.
You can't look at humans as logical thought machines.
Many of our beliefs and everyday thoughts are irrational, but probably have some kind of survival benefit if you are living a tribe.
Homosapiens have been around for 300,000 years. For 96% of that time, our species lived in hunter-gather tribes. We are mostly optimized for living in such a tribe, not for living in a city-state or a country with rules.
However, we are no longer evolving for beneficial traits. Now the people most successful in life have the fewest offspring.
Love it!
Great point of view!
