No injections at hospitals ever again. Just went in last week for severe poison oak and they offered an injectible steroid to ‘act faster’. I said no thanks just a script for the pills will be fine. Not taking any chances with doctors again - the mistrust now is epic.
We need frontline doctors to open clinics all over the country and only hire based physicians.
Jewelweed works on poison oak and ivy. When I lived in NY it grew all over my yard. I would brake a stem and rub it on me wherever the poison ivy was on me. The poison ivy would vanish almost right away if I got to it immediately. Often Jewelweed grows right next to poison ivy. Funny how nature works sometimes. But, you can make soaps and salves with it too. The plant has either yellow or orange flowers. Get the orange flowering plants if you can. They are more potent from what I've learned. This plant also works on a whole lot of other skin problems. Here is a good article to start if you want to research it https://farmhouse-bc.com/jewelweed-diy-salves/
I toppled off my motorbike and grazed my elbow. I had to get antibiotics aftr a week because I wasn't able to clean the wound adequately and it got infected. At the Health Center they wanted to give me an anti-tetanus jab. lol
I kept my cool and just said "no thank you" and smiled nicely at the "are you sure?"

At first glance, I thought this was going to be one of these posts - (((Jewelweed))). Oh the joy of ignorance...😂
Kek! I hadn't even thought gone there in my mind, which is surprising. Now I will always think of this when I see jewelweed.
The same thing happened to me when I first noticed the word "jewel". Funny world we live in.
Yes, I learned this when I was young, if you see jewelweed before going into the woods, better rub some on or you will come out itching later.
