Wait what? I do know that cloudflare was added once DDoS attacks repeatedly crashed the site. It wasn't an instantaneous perfect solution but the improvement was dramatic and fast, requiring work by our developer.

Click padlock in browser, look at SSL certificates, they're by Cloudflare.

Cloudflare hold the keys to their own SSL certs so they log all the IPs and comments associated with them at their leisure. It's somewhat safe to say that anyone using cloudflare is suspect at best, their history is well known and their terms of service are there for anyone to read, basically they'll give whatever data they feel like over to the FBI without a warrant and they make the site host responsible for telling you this (they never do this).
