The size of Graham's total 2008 compensation -- $535,000 from Samaritan's Purse and $669,000 from Charlotte, N.C.-based BGEA -- drew questions from nonprofit experts. Sorry, can't support that. As good as Samaritan's Purse may be (and they are probably a front group like World Vision). My advice: instead of shoe boxes, find a missionary you know or can communicate directly with and ask them what they need for their ministry. Support them! There's so much wrong with the shoebox method of evangelism anyway.
FG didn't fall far from the tree, as other posts have confirmed.
