I'm tired of these articles about Covid "vaccines" saying the phrase "...leaving scientists baffled" or "... leaving doctors baffled."

What exactly is so "baffling"?

If heavily vaxed cities are having huge spikes in Covid outbreaks, while low-vaxed cities are not... it's not so difficult to find the common factor.

When Africa, which has 1.4 Billion people, yet only 6% are "vaccinated" has virtually zero Covid outbreaks, yet nations with 80% + "vaccinated" population are having severe outbreaks of Covid... it's not that difficult to figure out.

Have scientists and doctors suddenly become stupid?

Nobody is really baffled or confused. That’s all a lie. They know the reason, but admitting to it would be counter to their messaging.
