Jesus helps us by lifting us out of our sin, thru grace, so that we may be redeemed in this dark world. So we may become the light for others. Imagine ur in a deep hole. Christ is the rock u can stand on to get out of that hole.
But, why even have a hole? If you're God, you can instantly fill holes and prevent them from reappearing.
Because he didnt want robots. He wanted to create something that would freely choose him. He does instantly fix the whole for us but it requires accepting Jesus christ.we created the holes. We dig our own holes but God loves us so much that he made a way we can still have free will but get out of those holes.
Ok.... so free will?
Explain the Tower of Babel story.
God decides humans are getting too big for their britches and comes down from heaven and interferes with human free will and changes the future.
Why did God choose this instance to override our "free" will?
Why can't he do it again?
God commanded humans to go out and multiply over the Earth. Building the Tower of Babel defied that order and directly went against God and His plan. They were kicked out of that area because they disobeyed God just like Adam and Eve got kicked out of Eden.
