The one world faith will be Catholicism but morphed into an even more universalist faith. Catholic means (literally) universal. The Catholic church has a lot of history that matches the prophesies in Daniel 7 and that is described in Revelation 17.

For the Catholic church to be the church of Revelation 17 it has to grow in power and popularity. They already have incredible influence over the world with world leaders who are part of the same club of global elites. I think it will take a minimum of 20 years (more likely 40), or about one generation of propaganda and heavy influence for them to overcome their current reputation.
