Anyone have experience with Lyme disease?

My friends 11 year old was just diagnosed with Lyme disease after 3 weeks of them telling her mom she had a virus. I know nothing of treatment for this and was curious if my frens had a any experience with this?

I have a slight memory of HCQ as a possible treatment but i dont know for sure. Might be worth looking in to
