Anyone have experience with Lyme disease?

My friends 11 year old was just diagnosed with Lyme disease after 3 weeks of them telling her mom she had a virus. I know nothing of treatment for this and was curious if my frens had a any experience with this?

I know very little, but ran across a talk given by a Dr Klinghardt about treating autism - in that talk, he mentioned that suramin (pine needle tea) can be used also for Lyme disease., this talk he gave was so impactful that I went around talking about to everyone I could for a few weeks.
