I remember that we teachers, at the time, were now "required" to "glove up" before helping an injured child that was bleeding. Most of us were mothers and we reacted "instinctively" to help the kids and not worry about the damn gloves. We even were required EVERY year to watch a documentary on HIV and "safe practices' when working with children!!!
