My wife is in management for a major Children’s hospital. I’ve got the lowdown for you guys. It’s not so much the jab requirement (that’s a portion, though). It’s more due to the lack of people even willing to work and/or shuffling around from place to place for more money. Major competition out there right now for employees. Retirees aren’t being replaced 1:1 with new hires…and then there’s the jab. It’s all 3. It’s mostly the younger generation not wanting or even having to work at all.
Also, I’m a mailman. I see all. I see who works and doesn’t. I see 5-6 last names per house. People just do not work anymore. Not full time. Not in the traditional sense. It’s a cultural/societal issue.
Well, the jab requirements certainly prevents me from working for any company that requires it and unfortunately that's most. I'm sure there are a lot of people that you are judging in the same boat right now.
We are stuck waiting for this to blow over or trying to find a (good) job that doesn't force the jab on you, or have it as part of their contract of employment of getting it in the future
The good news is the nonjabbed employment market continues to grow. It takes time to completely change society and this is same thing. Companies are adapting. We have to do the same, imo. Good luck to you fren in finding employment that doesn't require the jab or testing. If you work in tech or can work from home, many companies don't require you to jab or test if you're completely remote like I am. I received a religious exemption for the jab and since I am 100 remote I don't have to test either. I am quarantined by accident, lol.
