The first step was social media. The Social Credit scheme is nothing new, divide and conquer. I have noticed it on this site myself with the way we are directed to handle "handshake" accounts. The idea that one, when we are all equal, can be disqualified the concept of knowledge based on a "virtual badge" is just the start. We saw it with the blue checks on twitter and the fact checkers on facebook MOD accounts on reddit! It exists in the clothing and other non-essential markets as well, for years! Dress this way or you don't have it, buy these things or you don't have it. What exactly are they missing? Money, mostly, but also the backing of a large cartel hell bent on destroying anything and everything that they can. The Mobile Drivers License is just a nod that this system is already in place and local governments think that now is a good time to "go live" a product that they have been pushing onto the unsuspecting for decades.
They are not trying to build the Matrix around you, you are fully immersed in an already completed monolithic control structure.
