I predict in the not too distant future all governments (federal, state and local) will have next to zero power; simply because once you recognize that you are the sovereign of your own life, no one else can have any power over your rights.
Any attempt to infringe upon your rights as a sovereign is an act of war according to Natural Law, and by extension any other system of law since all other systems of law must conform to Natural Law. Just like how all United States of America laws made by legislation or precedence (judicial laws) must be proven to adhere to the Constitution, all laws must be in accordance with Natural Law or they are unlawful..
This is why government doesn't matter, and why it doesn't matter what anyone in government does. They are actors on a stage. Just like how the Federal Reserve Note has no power except in the power of the belief systems of those who have been defrauded by it, the government has only the power over a person that that individual believes it does.
