You know it's over when your husband has a 25 foot phone cord around your neck and your son takes out his pocket knife to stab his father in the hand because he won't let go of his mother. I still hear the hurt in my son's voice when he cried out, "Daddy, let her go. Please don't make me do this, Please." And then my son had no choice but to do it. That took a lot of guts and hurt to do harm to someone you still loved. I thank God I no longer have to live through those times. Amen.
