It could be these girls were told not to be concerned about them. "They're just immigrants looking for a better life..." they may have been asked to help one of them with something menial. Being the nice, polite girls they are, who were instructed not to fear them, maybe they lent a hand, and it put them in this horrific situation. Who knows? All I know is that if you stem from barbarism, you are going to take that with you wherever you go. This is a subculture of humanity, and most certainly evil.
Sadly, major cities are all Gotham City. I don't know how to solve the problem because the people in power want it this way. The family unit is under attack, most of these youth come from broken homes with terrible influence. Add social media and the fake news on top of it all, and you have true dystopian culture. I suppose the only thing that can be done is very harsh punishment for this behavior, but then we have overcrowded prisons and increased taxes to take care of them. I don't know if there is any hope to rehab these kids. Maybe a few will seek a better life, but not until they are charged and forced to do time for their crimes.

I went to our cabin in central Missouri last week and had four tick bites. Unfortunately, I got sick from one of them. Took Ivermectin right away, and am now on 10 doses of Doxycycline. It really messed with my platelets and WBC. Pretty sure it is anaplasmosis and not Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever. I had a huge hamburger the other night and so far, no reaction to red meat. Hopefully that doesn't strike me.

I am not a psychologist, but I think people with severe mental illness need someone to challenge them, otherwise they will walk themselves off the cliff. Our brains need a balance of affirmation and adversity to thrive. If someone is mentally sick and the person they are bouncing their craziness off agrees with them all the time, it compounds their beliefs into delusion because no one has ever told them they are wrong for thinking a certain way. Then it all just spirals until the person either self-depletes or ends up on lifelong meds that don't resolve anything. Most people these days are afraid to tell Bill who wants to be a Joan that he is mentally ill and to seek help. Instead they put up a rainbow flag and celebrate pride with them, rather than have a difficult conversation.

Me too. I take the drops and add a full dropper to my coffee. I also take Dandelion Root and Stinging Nettle for immunity. Cat's claw is also in my rotation, especially in the winter months.
