Ammunition in canada?

My Father-in-Law mentioned to me today that he's been unable to find shotgun shells anywhere in canada. He's spoken to vendors and tried online but gets the same answer from everyone. Is anyone else seeing this, or is he just not looking in the right place? If this is true then this seems a little troubling.

My husband has the same problem, he is suggesting firearmsoutlet.com

Yes it is scary, he is trying to convince me to let him buy another gun as he is freaked out.
