Very misleading headline. The announcement is at 4pm. The bans are going to be phased in. https://www.foodprocessing.com/food-safety/regulatory-compliance/news/55284672/hhs-and-fda-to-announce-ban-on-8-petroleum-based-food-dyes
I never thought dyes were such a big problem until I watched this documentary. A lot of kids are suffering because of this shit and nobody can figure it out.
I wake up every morning hoping to find out that something BIG has happened. I scan the forum and find lots of small happenings but nothing big. But things ARE happening at an accelerating rate, I'm just expecting booms. It's like 9/11, only the towers are coming down one floor per day. Plenty of time for people to escape harm, but still a dramatic event gradually unfolding. I need to temper my myself.
That's funny, I just read this article:
... which seems to be setting up an excuse for inaccurate weather forecasts to come.
I think I know just how you felt. When I was a little older than you were, we had a Sears appliance repairman come to fix our washing machine. I helped the guy and asked a lot of questions, so that by the time he was done I knew how to fix the problem when it happened again years later. There was no hesitation to share his knowledge.
You're very welcome. We went through all our cupboards looking for dyed foods to toss out. I really wonder how different the world would be without them.
