Thank you for this great reply. Know that we all have “lost” family and friends. If it helps, I can tell you that many of us here fighting, are making a huge change, as are the fighters in every country. My 88 year-old mum is doing her best, too. She tells everyone that she survived the bombings in England in WWII. She tells everyone how strong her immune system is as she survived Whooping Cough, Yellow Jaundice and Scarlet Fever. She stays away from “doctors”. She HATED “Papa Trudeau”. I myself am waking up A LOT of people. Many of us are waking up the sleeping lions. These lions are waking up PISSED.
I am glad you found your home. I hope that in a few years, you will be able to come back to Canada (even if just to visit), and receive the welcome of an awesome fellow Canuck returning to roots.
Keep up your fight, too. May you find all the Blessings and Strength you need.
For old times sake, fren:
“I live in a House, not an Igloo;
I don’t have a Moose as a pet;
I spell Honour with a “U”;
I sit on a Chesterfield, not a Couch;
I am CANADIAN”.
