I merely bring this thought to mind while thinking over the end times, prophecy and the like. I'm all for taking this country back to the basis of which the founding fathers established this incredible country. However, the Book of Revelation paints a very clear picture of how things essentially go from bad to worse and beyond, globally speaking. Is there really a chance this county is saved when the whole world will basically being going to hell in a hand basket? I'm certainly not trying to be a doomer or anything like that. But I'm interested in hearing other pedes opinions and sincerest thoughts on this matter as this is something that is really near and dear to my heart. I always wondered if my generation would be the one to witness the return of Christ the Messiah and the way things are going it really has me at attention. The Bible includes this final chapter for a very damn good reason. However, I do not believe in just sitting back and saying, "Well there's no point in fighting or resisting because this is all fate or destiny etc." Even Jesus (Yeshua HaMessiac) called bullshit when he saw it and took action (For instance the money-changers in the temple). I really truly feel that we're gearing up for the end and Trump's presidency was a last call of sorts for those who are faithfully minded to get our shit together. What are your guys and gals thoughts?

You aren't hurting your hand leaning on that shovel so hard, are you?
I am not "leaning on a shovel" I am leaning on God! I can dig my own holes, I am pretty good at it too. I wouldn't ask of the Father to do something that I am capable of, that would just be rude. Instead I ask him to intervene where I cannot.

I disagree. Action is plainly called for in scripture, not inaction and faith alone.
I couldn't agree with you more. We all bare Adam and Eve's sin. Taking action personally and abroad helps fortify the faith and keep us closer to the holy spirit. I am really beside myself reading everyone's responses. Some I find quite on point and others leading to bits of inspiration or at the very least self reflection. I really admire this community. There are no strangers in the presence of the Lord.
When the "right thing" is seen to, in itself, possess sin it cannot be right. What action do you suppose is being suggested here? Perhaps I have plank in my own eye that must be removed but when I look upon this I see calls to Murder, calls to Slander, calls to Gossip. Man cannot commit SIN in the hopes of pleasing the Father.
“So whoever knows the right thing to do and fails to do it, for him it is sin.” James 4:17
Cherry picking the Bible is what Satan tried with Jesus Christ when he was in the desert.
There is much that we can be doing right now and I am hopeful to be in the right place doing what I can. These vague calls to action are specifically vague.
Christ himself said that these things must come to pass, he never said anything about fighting it. Christ is coming with his army to do the Will of the Father.
I wasn't cherry-picking. I plainly gave you plenty of verses that are saying basically the same thing. If you don't like the Bible because it glows so much, that's a problem you have created for yourself.
