Something I just recently started realizing is with all of this mass testing, if they were collecting DNA, they now have a database of pretty much the world's population. Which is really scary considering they know have the potential to create viruses specific to certain genetic markers. Yes they could probably do that before, but now they have the entire world's DNA information to work from rather than small samples.

They already had it. It's called 23&Me and Ancestry.com.
Not of billions of people.. just the subset that were rich and dumb enough to pay for the service (which, btw, was shown to be erroneous anyway).
