I mean that is not inaccurate. Most handguns are either revolvers or automatics. And I've never heard of a mass shooting done with a revolver outside of a Metal Gear Solid game.
This is the problem when you learn about guns from video games. Im not saying that in a bad way but it gives people the wrong perception of guns. Most handguns are not automatic but are semi-automatic. Pretty big difference but they can obviously accomplish the same thing. With an automatic you pull the trigger and it keeps firing rounds until you let off the trigger or run out of ammo. A semi auto requires you to pull the trigger for each round.
I wasn't trying to be a smartass in any way. Sometimes its easier to be more brief than cover everything and write a book especially if using a phone.
Thankfully I grew up in the country with a firearm loving father that reloaded the majority of his ammo but now I reside in the city. A few of my friends from the city have never fired a round or even handled a firearm. Some comments they have made about guns is crazy but then again they have gained all of their firearm knowledge from a lifetime of video games and or MSM.
I just heard Local 4 refer to it as an "Automatic Handgun"

This was the point of my comment, thanks for jumping in Tex.
