I think THEY are naive in thinking they can prevent communications of what is going on.
People are sick and tired of Fecesbook, Twatter and others suppressing free speech. We have already found many different ways to communicate around their blockages. All they are doing is setting up roadblocks on the information highways. Everyone is simply taking the back roads to get around them.
Their "information blackout" will drive even more people to dump those sites and find even more ways around them. Eventually, Fecesbook, Twatter and others will be as effective as a rock in a stream.
