This specific mandate only applied to health care workers. The OSHA one has already hit first legal snag as well.
This one was still being implemented without this(temporary) ruling.
Yes, I understand what’s happening and I’m following it closely, but my point is, it’s either unconstitutional and illegal or it isn’t. For a federal judge to rule for one specific section of workers nationwide doesn’t make sense.
Judge can only rule on what is filed before him.
That, I can understand too. So that’s what I mean, unless someone comes and rescues the rest of us, some Americans will be losing jobs on dec. 7th.
It isn’t a final ruling, just a temporary block until a final ruling can be made.
But remember judges handle what is in front of them. If it only applies to health care workers, it would be judicial activism for them to broaden the scope.
I don’t disagree that it should apply equally.
Yea, the way I understand the constitution is that it is applied equally. That’s my whole point. I understand that it might have to work through the channels to get done, just saying that this is a perfect example of how we waste time and cause unnecessary pain to the people that really control this country, us.
