This seems to be fake.

The article can't be found anywhere, the author's name "Jacob Weinberg" can't be found writing anything for cnn.com and image searching the author's photo reveals his name to be Gary Shteyngart.

I never understood why people don’t keep the original urls and archive urls when sharing screenshots of media.

If it gets deleted, there’s at least a way to trace back.

If it’s a shitpost, at least label it as such until there’s a valid source.
