I say this with love and with the intention to help you. The Poverty Gospel is demonic bullshit. If having money was evil then why doesn’t the devil load us up with it from the day we are born? Why do we go to work to get paid if it’s not God’s will for his children to acquire wealth? The love of money is evil. Money is neutral and in the hands of a God-fearing man can be a powerful tool against Satan.
Of course Satan would attack the hundred or so mentions of the word “prosperity” in the Bible regarding the promises of God to his children.
A broke, weak church is not going to do any real damage to Satans kingdom. Jesus had a treasury, Jesus owned a home, Jesus owned boats, Jesus had rich widows help to finance his ministry. The more God blesses me with, the more I get to give to his Kingdom (feed the poor, send missionaries, help to finance the spreading of the Gospel, help to plant and build churches)
The monetary system of usury is evil. It's a Ponzi scheme that drives scarcity, then desperation, and then plunder (that gets blamed on us). If money were credit instead of loans, it would be neutral.
Thanks for responding 👍. Just curious of your doctrine on tithing (10% of gross income) and offerings AKA sowing seed (offering given above the 10% of your tithe).
There’s a lot of verses about giving to God’s Kingdom and He returning unto you, I don’t see how this is evil or demonic in any way. It’s Scriptural. If we bless what blesses God’s heart—He returns onto us. “In this life and the next”. Jesus said we are to store up treasures in heaven. but by Faith he opens up the windows of heaven and releases some of our heavenly account down to us here. ( You have to have seed in the ground (be tithing and giving offerings)to be blessed in this manner. The Bible says clearly that if you don’t tithe, then you are living under a curse. ““For I the Lord do not change; therefore you, O children of Jacob, are not consumed. From the days of your fathers you have turned aside from my statutes and have not kept them. Return to me, and I will return to you, says the Lord of hosts. But you say, ‘How shall we return?’ Will man rob God? Yet you are robbing me. But you say, ‘How have we robbed you?’ In your tithes and contributions. You are cursed with a curse, for you are robbing me, the whole nation of you.”
