"...Crying for hours like a baby in his room screaming about a big headache..."
Healthy young kids do not waste multiple hours of their day crying and screaming about non existent injuries.
Sulking for an entire day and being generally irritable? Possible but not very common.
Crying and screaming for a full hour? Maybe for the very, very determined.
But crying and screaming for hours while reporting physical pain? No.
This just doesn't happen unless something is very wrong and even when something is very wrong and the pain is very severe the crying and screaming from a migraine will not last for hours. They WILL cry and scream from the pain to the point where you feel helpless and desperate to figure out how to help them. They want everything dark and quiet. Then, after a time of severe discomfort which feels like forever but is really usually less than 20-30 minutes they fall asleep from the exhaustion of having been so upset.
If this post is real this is not a child trying to manipulate their parent. This is a parent reporting that they are willfully torturing their child while their child gives a desperate and furious and determined cry for help.
I have worked with many Many children including some incredibly strong and willful ones and can say with confidence that I have never yet met a child with the endurance to fake something like this for multiple hours.
I hope this is part of the psyop to upset us and not a real story. Breaks my heart for that child and creates a terrible anger toward parents who are too narcissistic and self important to properly care for their charges.
I have considered moving to a larger home because I am expecting there will be many kids in the next 5 years who find themselves without a caregiver and in need of a family. I hope everyone here is thinking about the future, not just for themselves and their immediate families but for the ones they will not want to turn away when help is needed. Not all of us have the means, but for those of us who do we need to be getting ready.
