No real Christian has never read the bible. Anyone that has read the bible and knows its history should be asking all sorts of questions to how much of it has not been stepped on...or removed. Man has f*cked with this book for almost 2 centuries , changing things to suit their needs.
You reminded me of this video I saw last year and it took over an hour for me to find it again. It is a lecture regarding the reliability of new testament manuscripts.

I appreciate the video. I listen to youtube videos all week long at work and will listen to this one on monday. I am guessing by the title this lecture is going along the lines of the 4 gospels and other writings prove each other. As in, different authors giving different accounts that agree. That is a good point for the gospels. Not foolproof because that could always have been done for that reason...but a good start. Thanks again.
