I keep reading how freemasons are evil and do horrible things. Yet I grew up with masons. I'm not evil, nor do I do horrible things. So, being new, and open minded. I would like to have a civilized discussion about the freemasons! And remember. I come from family members whom are passed now, but, were. Masons. I'm open to here. Thank you.

My great grandpa was high-ranking Scottish rite. His daughter, my grandma, was a daughter of the Nile. Let me put it this way...my grandma participated in seances( had stories of seeing spirits), I found photos of her and other member dressed in very strange garbs, she was a "progressive" liberal back in the day completely defying the traditional woman of having kids and staying at home. She refused to breastfeed and worked through my mom's childhood. Not because she had to, bit because she defied the "norms". I'm not saying this is relevant to free-masonry, but gives a synopsis of lifestyle.
