If you take away motorcycles deaths, trampoline deaths...boating and car accidents, and shower curtain deaths. And of course regular overweight related deaths. It’s like one person who died of Covid. And that’s only because someone painted “Covid” on the ceiling fan that killed him. Tragic.
Basically a worse(er) flu season is what we’ve had, due to hospital protocols not treating flu patients, and overall just letting people die. Influenza is tough. Covid is a ceiling fan.

You make a fair point. You don't cheat death and live the perfect old age by avoiding one needle. It certainly helps in this case.
