Our plans are changing to take more seriously a land line, satellite phone for back up, ham license, horse with coach and training my flock of pigeons so they each have another 'home' eg family/ friends. Dont laugh--they can travel over 60 mph where theres no traffic and have an excellent reliability record since the beginning of time
Very interested in the whole carrier pigeon thing. I am a bird person, for one thing. How to establish a destination point? And how far away could it be?
The bird returns to its home loft. Once they accept their home you can let them fly and they will circle the loft for several minutes, just getting exercise. You make a little tune to whistle to them while they eat. This associates the whistle with food and home and you can call them back inside. Then you take them out shot distances and let them fly home. They learn the area. Then extend the distance of the flights. Mine came back from 250 miles. Some made it in a few days. Some took a couple weeks. Some not at all. It's a fun hobby.
The same as when "2G" service was taken down. Thousands of cars built with 2G tech for various purposes (remote startings, etc.) were screwed as replacement could not be done. Everything is going to be force-migrated to 4G and 5G until only 5G remains useful. All part of the plan to recapture the 2G and 3G bandwidth for something else.

I raised them as a kid. My best 'homers' were park pigeons I trapped with a box trap. They knew they had it good. Also had fantails and turbits.
I love you. Thank you for sharing this.
Mine are all feral too. I adore them and theyre absolutely brilliant

What does this mean? We have no avoidance of being poisoned by 5G towers?
Guy at the repair shop said they were getting rid of 4G too
