at some point I heard there was a pill or a way to train your taste back, heard it maybe a year+ ago, never researched it as I had twice Wuhan and I never experienced a flavor or smell issue, only weakness, hot cold sweats, trouble breathing. Was a long-hauler until I ate Ivermectin, cured in two days.
Maybe a round of Ivermectin could help you. I've eaten a TON and zero side effects, but also I see it working. Love that stuff!
Whatever this thing is, our whole family got it early. Just before the madness with masks and lockdowns started. It was like a flu, but with the distinct difference of definate loss of taste and smell, and a thickness of mucus we had never experienced before. All three of those specific symptoms took awhile to go away, even after we felt physically better. Each dissipated at different rates. Taste and smell were almost 100% about a month after feeling better, the thick congestion took a few months to go away for a few of us. Since that time there has been no relapse of those symptoms. Of course, it wont be the same for everyone, and we took no meds at all. Just rode it out. But that is my experience. Hope it helps.
Thanks for all the help btw.
the paste worked great for my nephew.
worked for me for a stomach (pukey, liquid poo) flu, like a charm.
