Members of the Society of Jesus are supposed to eschew all ecclesiastical honors (I believe) beyond Monsignor, which is a form of address, not an appointment such as a Bishop; it is purely honorary.

Sauce: the Mrs. worked as an administrative intern for the Society while in college.
