Keep a rescue inhaler such as Ventolin which contains albuterol, a short-acting bronchodilator.
Read all of these articles and make appropriate lists, notes, etc.:

Protip: Use local and raw honey. Doesn’t hurt to call/email local beekeepers directly and ask for bulk+cash pricing.
Edit:
Like most “diseases”, asthma is not a disease, but a symptom of an underlying disease: chronic inflammation, which is itself just a symptom of shitty diet, shitty sleep, shitty activity levels, shitty stress levels, and/or shitty direct sunlight exposure.
“Monoclonal antibody biologic therapies have recently entered clinical practice with significant impacts on asthma outcomes.”
👆Thus, many of the natural prophylactics, treatments, cures, etc. for “covid” (another “symptom” that’s mistaken for a disease: immunosuppression cause by the life shittinesses mentioned above) also help prevent asthma:
Ivermectin
Monoclonal antibody treatment
Quercetin
Vitamin D
Vitamin C
Zinc
NAC
Melatonin

How could I forget? Don’t forget to fast and I mean properly fast. Like, don’t eat anything at all for more than a day or two straight every week or two.

A HEPA Air purifier in the bedroom at night certainly helped me one windy night when my asthma was absolutely shocking from all the pollen and dust in the air. Allowed me to stop coughing and actually get some sleep.
Had tried purple Seretide puffer (steroid + long term broncodilator) multiple times that evening and a few puffs of blue Salbutamol? puffer by this stage.
