This cough has been an issue for years and years. Doxy basically takes it away but I'm wondering if it's safe to keep taking, making it a daily thing.

Doxy has a drying effect. And it's cheap and available OTC as a vet medicine. Other than that it seems inappropriate to me. You might need it as an antibiotic someday. If you just started and got relief maybe you do need an antibiotic, but a little more knowledge about the infection might be a better way to go. Are you taking lisinopril or another ACE inhibitor, perchance? They tend to cause a persistent dry cough.
Only natural stuff like ACV. I would think the fact that they already use acv and lemon daily would help with the acid reflux that others were mentioning.
