Cyber Presence Operations Key to Pentagon’s Gray Zone Conflict with China By: John Grady December 6, 2021 1:57 PM
Listed below are some excerpts from the article:
Picking up on the idea of “getting in the way,” U.S. Cyber Command chief and National Security Agency director Army Gen. Paul Nakasone added that “presence matters; we’ll [CYBERCOM] be there” even with small special operations teams. “This is not the future; it’s now.”
“2018 was a pivotal year for us” in locking in a doctrine of defending forward, he said. “This is a domain that our adversaries could move into quickly,” and that requires round-the-clock vigilance.
“We call that persistent engagement” and that means being on offense as well as defense.
Heres another excerpt:
Nakasone and Gilday said several times during the forum session that “deterrence is about imposing costs” on an adversary. The CNO described effective cyber deterrence as requiring a “punishment pillar.”
“We’re trying to deter decision-makers [in China, Russia, North Korea and Iran] from doing something stupid,” he added
The picture in this article allows you to zoom in. There are several unusual or interesting finds:

There appear to be 3 people not in military attire or wearing black masks.
There is one person in middle with Miller on name tag. He has a black us flag on uniform.
The time stamp on the large overhead screen has August 5 1:00 pm but the females laptop says 9:01. That same laptop seems to have a playing card on the keyboard and the word Top Secret on screen. Also the emblem on the screen kind of resembles a Q circle logo. It also seems to have lots of cups and items on the desk. Not very tidy for photo op.
But the weirdest is the Picture on the Large Screen. Zoom in on it and it is very strange like a coutryside pic with a steeple and tower and if you look at the the wall to the left going up in the picture you can see faces although distorted throughout this picture.
I did pull up traitor jos schedule for August 5th and it said he was signing 4 congressional medals of honor for the January 6th Capitol Police.....also looked up black us flag but just some vague reference to symbolize giving No Quarter to traitors. Medals for Killing Unarmed Veteran....So Treasonous...praying this gets rectified quickly!
President Joe Biden will receive his daily briefing on Thursday then meet with Asian American, Native Hawaiin, and Pacific Islander activists, deliver a speech on his clean car and truck agenda, and sign a bill to award congressional gold medals to four Capitol Police officers.
When and Where Did it Originate? 1861-1865 marked the beginning of the American Civil War and the origin black American flag. As a contrast to the white surrender flag, Confederate soldiers flew the black flag. Keeping the black flag meant that the unit would not surrender and would kill any enemy combatants
I looked at the picture and enlarged it for a better view. The "black flags" on uniforms are actually the camouflage or subdued US Flags attached by a velcro pad to the uniform shoulder. They appear black in the photo because they are made with an infra-red subdued thread. The large castle on the big screen is a famous castle in Austria or Germany and is used as a screen-saver -- my local cable system uses that same one. The fact that some are in uniform and some are not is because some of the people are most likely civilians. The screen actually as a SECRET digital cover on it not TOP SECRET. The wall on the left with "faces" are people in the overhead viewing area, although they might be disembodied lost souls who were formerly living but now reanimated by a secret squirrel device Known Only To Those Who Know All.

Note Red Yellow / Red Green / Red tape on the top of some of the monitors at the desks.
Some kind of color coding indicating classification access level to different networks (two colors - two networks).
Are you saying that this monitor has a cover over it and we're not actually looking at a screen saver, or active screen?
Also... is that a cell phone on the desk in the pink cover / wallet to the right of the woman at the monitor? If so, could be a problem.

If that is a cellphone and IF this is inside a SCIF then that is in violation of the DCID and DIA Manual 50-3. The monitor appears to have a screen saver with the classifications information on it. Color coding is for different networks such as SCI and for non-SCI or perhaps SCI and then lower than TS.
