Yeah. I think, a few years ago, I would have read that wiki and thought "Wow, look at this evolution of medicine. What terrible conditions he had to go through to help these people." Now I read it and think, "Wtf. This guy had no calling but decided to attend a Rockefeller medicine school and become a doctor of medicine. He met individually with each member to threaten ahem plead his case. Then he goes deep into the middle of nowhere, with his wife who is now the anesthesiologist, to 'treat' all of these people for their horrible illnesses, despite the fact they've survived for thousands of years." This is what this board has done for me - turned me into a cynic. I should add that I'm an RN, heavily indoctrinated!
